Reminder!

Monday is our field trip to the Children's Museum.  The bus will be leaving at 8:40am so all preschoolers (morning and afternoon) must be at the school by 8:30am.  The field trip will take place from 9:30am until 11:00am.  A snack will be provided before leaving the mall.  We will return by noon and all children need to be picked up then.  No transportation is provided once we are returned to the school.  I look forward to this exciting learning opportunity!

Special Guest

We are talking about community helpers this week so Miss Lois' husband, a state trooper, came to visit.  He talked to us about his job and what he does.  He also let us check out his car!

It's a Jungle Out There!

Miss Ashley, my student teacher, took over teaching this past week.  Their theme was "Jungle."  They made monkey bread and created safari vests and binoculars to go on their "safari" through the halls!

Field Trip Forms

Just a reminder, field trip forms are due by Friday.  Our field trip is scheduled for Monday, December 10th.  All preschoolers need to arrive by 8:40am and be picked up at noon, wearing their tie-dye shirt.

iPads

Thanks to the Washington County Riverboat Foundation, Mid-Prairie Preschools recently purchased 10 iPads along with covers and screen protectors to be used in all of the preschool locations.  Each location now has a few iPads for the preschoolers to use in small group instruction and center time.  The teachers and students are very excited to have this technology in their learning environment.  Thank you Washington County Riverboat Foundation for funding this project!

Field Trip to the Fire Station!

We went to visit the Wellman Volunteer Fire Department today!  It was a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed it.  They even let us spray the water hose!
