Winter Fun!

There isn't much snow outside for us to enjoy so we decided to make our own winter fun inside!

Here are the preschoolers painting snow onto the windows!  They had a lot of fun doing something they normally wouldn't be able to do and our windows look awesome now!

Here we are making "Snowballs."  The preschoolers frosted 4 vanilla wafers and sprinkled shredded coconut on top to make fluffy snowballs.  They were delicious!

We got some wonderful help making sock snowmen on Friday.  Mrs. Fisher's 2nd grade class came in the morning and Mrs. Bessman's 5th grade class came in the afternoon.  Each preschooler was partnered with an older student.  Together they had to fill a sock with rice, beans or birdseed, separate it into sections using rubber bands and then decorate it to look like a snowman.   It was a wonderful time and I think everyone enjoyed it.  The snowmen are looking fabulous in the display case.

Parent Input

As a teacher, I am always trying to do my best and be the best I can to set a great example for the children.  Being my best requires reflection on every day, as well as how I am doing in the eyes of my students and their parents.  I ask that you provide me with your honest feedback about my teaching and my classroom and you can do so by completing this short survey.  It is completely anonymous and the responses will give me an opportunity to reflect on how I am doing for each and every one of your children that I impact.  This will only take a few minutes of your time.  I appreciate your honesty in doing this for me so that I may grow professionally.

Reminder!

Monday is our field trip to the Children's Museum.  The bus will be leaving at 8:40am so all preschoolers (morning and afternoon) must be at the school by 8:30am.  The field trip will take place from 9:30am until 11:00am.  A snack will be provided before leaving the mall.  We will return by noon and all children need to be picked up then.  No transportation is provided once we are returned to the school.  I look forward to this exciting learning opportunity!
